Obituary of James Vincent

James "Jim" Bernard Vincent was born in Macon Georgia on September 15, 1933.  His Father was Eunice Gordon Vincent and Mother, Ruth Beatrice Vincent.  Jim had 4 siblings, Edward, Naomi, Sarah, and Dolores.  

Jim's family moved from Georgis to Los Angeles California when he was 8 years old.  After high school, Jim joined the Air Force and served for 3 years until he enrolled in college to study Geology.  

Jim married and had two sons, Timothy and Daniel.  

Jim decided to pursue a new career and was hired and trained to be a stockbroker. Jim built his stockbroker business by calling numbers listed in stacks and stacks of phone books.  Jim worked as a stockbroker for 25 years retiring to Chico to be near his two sons, daughter in law and grandson. 

Jim and Sharon met at a Christian Singles Group.  They married and spent many years traveling in their RV and truck. 

Jim was a devoted Christian and lead a Senior Adult Bible Study for several years.  This group became "Our Friday Family". 

Jim at 90 years went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2024.  He will be missed by his loving family and many wonderful friends he met during his lifetime
