Obituary of Mayda Ann Gilmore

Mayda Ann Gilmore was born in Chico, California on March 15, 1937 to Roy and Mayda Kilingenberg at Enloe Medical Center. She died on April 2, 2023 in Chico, California at the age of 86.  

Mayda grew up in both Chico, and Isleton, California. She graduated from Rio Vista High School in Rio Vista, California. She married Gerald Raymond "Jerry" Gilmore on November 7, 1959. As an adult, she moved around for a while and lived in Long Beach, CA, Elk Grove, CA and/or Rancho Cordova, CA, Westminster, CA before she finally settled back in Chico, in 1993. She was a longtime employee of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Enloe Medical Center. 

Mayda is survived by her son; Roy Adams Gilmore (Chico, CA): Daughter; Margaret Lurene Gilmore (Gridley, CA): Grandson; Thomas Caeton Vieira (Gridley, CA): Grandson; Josef Caeton Vieira (Gridley, CA); Sister; Barbara Nadine Johnson (Chico, CA), and her three daughters: Sister; Darleen Mary Mian (Sacramento, CA) and her two daughters: Sister; Royanne Leslie Gale (Chico, CA), and her son as well as many others.
