Jean and Family,
I was sorry to hear Dick passed. I remember when he went on the "tiger cruise" with Ernie, and we met in Hawaii. He was so excited tp be going on the cruise. He was such a nice person. He really enjoyed visiting the pineapple fields.
I will keep you in my prayers.
Love, Linda Joy

This summer my friend Trish and I wanted to meet the man that we passed by so often... so many times as a child and now as an adult. We were in the car one day reminessing about all the joys in our life and the mutual memories we shared as children. We shared the mutual affection for a man we did not know as we have beutiful memories passing along and always looking at the beutiful flowers each season he would plant. We ran out and picked up a beutiful hibiscus and as if we were little girls all over again giggled in hopes that he too would love it just as much and put it in his front yard. We arrived a bit nervous, Jean was there at the door to greet us. We told her who were and why we were there and she hugged and loved on us graciously. If that wasn't enough love we were kissed cheek to cheek by Dick and spent some beutiful time together with them with the feeling we have known them all our lives, funny we really have known them all our lives!! He told us he would plant that hibiscus in the front yard and that her would take good care of it. He told us that he would make sure that before the frost comes he would make sure it is protected so it will bloom in the spring. I have passed by and on many occasions I look over and see that yes indeed it is protected by a plastic box covering. I know that right now that Jesus is doing the same for Jean he has got his loving arms around her protecing her in this difficult season of her life. To all the members of Dick and Jean family I have been truly blessed for knowing them
