Obituary of Mildred Goslin

A celebration of the life of Mildred will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Chico. Millie passed away peacefully at Enloe Medical Center on August 8, 2008. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert E. and Ruth B. Hall. She married her husband Paul Goslin in San Diego, CA in 1945. They were married for 45 years when Paul passed away in 1990. She leaves their three children, Shari Rice (Dan) of Chico, Tom Goslin (Paula) of Chico and Pamela Cresta of Mill Valley; seven grandchildren, Alison Rice, Carrie Jossel (Beau), Tom Rice, Nick Cresta, Andrew Cresta, Kara Goslin and Emily Cresta. In 1993, she and John Warwick exchanged wedding vows at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chico. Millie enjoyed the last 15 years with John and his two children Jan (Steve) Marty of Vancouver, WA and John Warwick, Jr. (Wendy) of Modesto, CA and his four grandchildren, James, Jaci, Meagan, and Nicole Warwick. Millie had a life long commitment to her faith in God. She was totally devoted to her family. She also leaves behind numerous friends who she did so cherish. We all love her so much, and will sorely miss her, but we are comforted knowing that she is safely home with Jesus and that we will all be together again in heaven.
